Redesigning Tavex Bulgaria: A Modern Digital Destination for Currency and Precious Metals

Overview

When Tavex Bulgaria approached us, their CEO, Max, shared his vision: a modern, digital-first experience that would allow customers to trade currency and precious metals online with the same level of trust and precision the brand had built offline. With over 1.9 million clients served annually and deep roots across Northern and Eastern Europe, Tavex needed a platform capable of reflecting both their heritage and future ambitions.

The challenge was clear. The existing site was outdated, fragmented, and difficult to navigate, making it hard for users to access Tavex’s wide range of services — from currency exchange to investment in gold and silver. To solve this, we kicked off a comprehensive research and strategy sprint, meeting with stakeholders, interviewing clients and dealers, and mapping user archetypes. What followed was a ground-up redesign that focused on simplifying navigation, refining user flows, and creating a fresh, trustworthy brand identity that works across every platform.

From information architecture and wireframes to brand refresh, product design, and ecommerce development, we reimagined Tavex’s digital presence as a cohesive, modern ecosystem — one that makes trading, investing, and managing portfolios as simple as checking a balance.

The redesigned Tavex Bulgaria platform is more than a facelift — it’s a complete reinvention of the customer journey. Key services like currency exchange and investment in gold and silver are now accessible, intuitive, and mobile-friendly, with interactive calculators, product filters, and instant portfolio management tools that deliver real value with every visit.

By modernizing the logo and visual identity, we brought new clarity and scalability to a brand that is recognized across Europe. The new site architecture and UX flows empower customers to quickly exchange currency, purchase precious metals, or track their portfolios — all while experiencing the professionalism and trust that Tavex has built its name on.

For KICKFLIP, this project showcases how research-driven UX, bold design decisions, and a clean technical execution can transform even the most complex financial services into engaging digital experiences. Tavex is now equipped with a future-proof platform that reflects their leadership in the market and sets a new standard for online financial services in the region.
